The Department is a structural unit of the DSUJ of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, providing educational process, educational, methodological, research work and other activities in the field of historical and theoretical disciplines, constitutional and international law.
The Department graduates students according to the program of training field 40.03.01 Jurisprudence (state and legal profile).
The department was formed at the time of the establishment of the educational institution in 2015.
DEPARTMENT MISSION:
Training graduates in demand by the labor market with a serious theoretical and analytical basis, ready to solve various practical problems in the legal sphere in various places of work: government agencies, commercial organizations, legal consulting, etc. Formation of fundamental innovative knowledge in students and masters about the theory of state and law, comparative law, modern legal doctrines, legal technique, legal office work, constitutional and international law, etc.
In addition, the central element of the Department's work is the development of theoretical legal science through the involvement of students, undergraduates and postgraduates in scientific work, as well as the active publication and expert-analytical activities of the Department's members.
TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT:
- further maintenance of the competitive level of higher education programs implemented by the Department;
- development of theoretical legal science;
- development of analytical jurisprudence;
- development of educational programs;
- increasing the contribution of the Department to the University's income from research activities;
- introducing innovative teaching methods into the educational process and promoting further digitalization of legal education;
- deepening the integration of students and teachers of the Department into the Russian scientific community and the global scientific environment;
- forming a set of knowledge and skills necessary for graduates of the Department to adapt to the real conditions of practical activity;
- implementing closer interaction with employers.
